Novelty

On a national level, the study of imune glumeronefrites on animals, so also on dogs, didn’t represent a major interest for veterinarian researchers. The histologic studies of immune glomerulopathies are limited just to morphological aspects observed through elective colorations, without being able to bring any concrete evidence about the imune components participating in the pathological process. Imunohistochemistry and imunocitochemistry make it easy for the researchers to investigate and observe these patological processes.

The reduced interest towards this method was discouraged by the prohibitive costs of the antibodies used, even though the working method is simple and doesn’t imply great material costs.

On an international plan, the subject of imune glomerulonephrites has been treated with seriousity, starting with human imune glomerulopathies. Through similar histopathological aspects in human glomerulonephrites and animal imune glomerulopathies, the later ones have been studied, especially in the cases of pets ( dog and cat ).

The data in the international literature concerning imune glomerulonephrites signalate the next types of glomerulonefrites
