DYNAMICS OF SOME BIOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF BEE POLLEN STORED IN DIFFERENT CONDITIONS

Abstract
Pollen collected by bees is an excellent remedy for various diseases, while representing a balanced and nutritious food. Biochemical composition of pollen varies from one species to another. At the same time, the quality is dependent on several factors such as pollen harvesting period, packaging and storage methods, conditioning. Our research aims to follow the dynamic changes in the biochemical composition, occurring in bee pollen, in different storage conditions. Working methods used were the bee pollen harvesting by collectors of pollen, his conditioning and keeping it in different conditions (temperature and light) for 3 and 6 months. Later, chemical analysis were made, aiming for each batch, the evolution of moisture, dry substance, minerals, fat, protein and easily hydrolyzable nitrogen. The data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics and analysis of variance using unifactorial ANOVA test. The research undertaken complete the poor information on the dynamics of biochemical properties of pollen, looking to point some aspects on the storage conditions of this bee product.

DINAMICA UNOR PROPRIETĂŢI BIOCHIMICE ALE POLENULUI APICOL PĂSTRAT ÎN DIFERITE CONDIŢII

Rezumat
Polenul colectat de albine este un excelent remediu īn diferite afectiuni, reprezentānd totodata un aliment echilibrat si nutritiv. Compozitia biochimica a polenului difera de la o specie la alta. Īn acelasi timp, calitatea este dependenta de o serie de factori cum sunt: perioada de recoltare a polenului, metodele de conditionare ambalare si pastrare. Cercetarile proprii īsi propun sa urmareasca dinamica transformarilor biochimice, care se produc īn polenul apicol poliflor, īn diferite conditii de pastrare. Metodele de lucru folosite au constat īn recoltarea polenului apicol cu ajutorul colectoarelor de polen, conditionarea acestuia si pastrarea lui īn diferite conditii (de temperatura si lumina), timp de 3, respectiv 6 luni. Ulterior s-au efectuat analize chimice ale acestuia, urmarindu-se pentru fiecare lot, evolutia umiditatii, cantitatilor de substanta uscata, substante minerale, grasimi, proteine si a azotului usor hidrolizabil. Datele obtinute au fost analizate, aplicāndu-se atāt statistici descriptive, cāt si prin analiza variantelor prin testul ANOVA unifactorial. Cercetarile īntreprinse completeaza informatiile sarace asupra dinamicii proprietatilor biochimice ale polenului, cautānd sa puncteze unele aspecte asupra conditiilor de pastrare ale acestui produs apicol.
