EFFECT OF PHYTATE IN DIET AND LEAD IN DRINKING WATER ON BLOOD MINERAL AND GROWTH OF DUCKS

Abstract
The experiment concerning the effect of diet containing different level of phytate and lead (Pb) in drinking water on blood mineral and growth of local starting duck was conducted at the Laboratory of Physiology and Biochemistry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and the Laboratory of Chemistry Material and Environment, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Padjadjaran University. In this experiment, study of the effect of diet containing different level of phytate and lead in drinking water on calcium, zinc and iron of blood; feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio of starting duck were conducted. The experimental design used a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern 3x3. Three dietary treatments containing different levels of phytate (0,15; 1,17 and 2,16%) and 3 levels of lead in drinking water (0, 45 and 90 ppm) with 3 replication were applied. The results showed that there was an interaction of phytate in diet and lead in drinking water on feed consumption. The main effect of lead treatment up to 90 ppm increased calcium, zinc and iron of blood. Concentration of lead up to 90 ppm in drinking water did not affect feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion ratio. The main effect of phytate up to 2,16% in diet increased feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion ratio.

EFECTUL FITAŢIOR DIN HRANĂ ŞI A PLUMBULUI DIN APA DE BĂUT ASUPRA NIVELULUI SERIC DE MINERALE ŞI PERFORMANŢELOR DE CREŞTERE LA RAŢE

Rezumat
Experimentul privind efectul diferitelor niveluri de fitati īn hrana si plumb (Pb) īn apa de baut asupra nivelului seric de minerale si a performantelor de crestere la bobocii de rata a fost realizat īn cadrul laboratorului de Fiziologie si Biochimie, Facultatea de Zootehnie si al laboratorului de Chimia Materialelor si a Mediului, Facultatea de Matematica si Stiintele Naturii, Padjadjaran University. Īn acest experiment, s-a studiat efectul dat de utilizarea hranei cu diferite niveluri de fitati si a apei contaminate cu plumb asupra: calciului, zincului si fierului seric; consumului de hrana, sporului īn greutate si conversiei hranei la bobocii de rata īn perioada de demaraj. Designul experimental a fost de tip complet randomizat, cu un model factorial 3x3. Trei tipuri de nutret, cu 3 concentratii de fitati (0,15; 1,17 si 2,16%), respectiv 3 niveluri diferite ale Pb īn apa de baut (0; 45 si 90 ppm) īn 3 repetitii au fost utilizate. Rezultatele au indicat interactiunea dintre fitatii din hrana si plumbul din apa, asupra consumului de hrana. Principalul efect al adaosului de Pb pāna la 90 ppm a condus la cresteri ale nivelurilor serice de calciu, zinc si fier. Concentratii de pāna la 90 ppm īn apa de baut ce au influentat consumul de hrana, greutatea corporala si conversia hranei. Principalul efect al adaosului de fitati de pāna īn 2,16% īn hrana a generat cresterea consumului de nutret, a greutatii corporale si a ratei de conversie a hranei.
