PERFORMANCES OF SOME HEN BROILERS IN CONDITIONS OF A SLOW GROWING APPLICATION IN EXTENSIVE SYSTEM AND WITH SLAUGHTERING AT DIFFERENT AGES

Abstract
   Research was carried out on three meat hen hybrids (one for industrial rearing: Ross-308 and two with slow growing: Hubbard and HB Color), reared in extensive system, in shelters opened to external paddocks. Speaking about growing rhythm, the best results were obtained at Ross-308 chickens (mean gain of 39.11-41.82 g/head/day), higher with 2.05-21.43% than at HB Color and with 1.62-16.14% than at Hubbard, with the mention that at growing series till 56 days Hubbard chickens overcome the Ross-308 ones with 0.5%. The final weight was 2.25-3.28 kg at Ross-308, higher with 0.44-12.19% than at Hubbard and with 2.75-21.64% face to HC Color. The best total fodder consumption was also at Ross-308 (5257-7319 g m.f./period), and the most inconvenient one was at HB Color (5439-7945 g m.f./period). Conversely, Ross-308 chickens had the highest mortality rate (9.04-12.021%), higher with 6.71-8.11% than Hubbard and with 2.69-4.29% than HB Color. Our conclusion was that only Hubbard hybrid realised production parameters close to the ones mentioned in rearing guide, and optimal slaughtering age of chickens with slow growing is 63 days.

PERFORMANŢELE UNOR BROILERI DE GĂINĂ ÎN CONDIŢIILE APLICĂRII CREŞTERII LENTE ÎN SISTEM EXTENSIV ŞI CU SACRIFICARE LA VÂRSTE DIFERITE

Rezumat
   Cercetările au vizat trei hibrizi de găină pentru carne (unul pentru creştere industrială: Ross-308 şi doi cu creştere lentă: Hubbard şi HB Color), crescuţi în sistem extensiv, în hale deschise la padocuri exterioare. Din punctul de vedere al ritmului de creştere, cele mai bune rezultate au fost la puii Ross-308 (spor mediu de 39,11-41,82 g/cap/zi), mai mare cu 2,05-21,43% decât la HB Color şi cu 1,62-16,14% decât la Hubbard, cu menţiunea că la seria de creştere până la 56 zile puii Hubbard au depăşit pe cei Ross-308 cu 0,5%. Greutatea finală a fost de 2,25-3,28 kg la Ross-308, mai mare cu 0,44-12,19% decât la Hubbard şi cu 2,75-21,64% faţă de HC Color. Cel mai bun consum total de furaje a fost tot la Ross-308 (5257-7319 g n.c./perioadă), iar cel mai neconvenabil la HB Color (5439-7945 g n.c./perioadă). În schimb, puii Ross-308 au avut cea mai ridicată rată a mortalităţii (9,04-12,021%), mai mare cu 6,71-8,11% decât Hubbard şi cu 2,69-4,29% decât HB Color. Concluzia noastră a fost aceea că doar hibridul Hubbard a realizat parametri de producţie apropiaţi de cei precizaţi în ghidul de creştere, iar vârsta optimă de sacrificare a puilor cu creştere lentă este de 63 zile.
