Abstract
Breed improvement of pigs is a major way to increase the economic efficiency of pig production in the near future. Different ways are now available to achieve this goal; among them, the valorisation of the exceptional reproductive abilities of some pig breeds is likely to provide the largest improvement in sow annual productivity. The fattening and carcass traits of two and three hybrids on the basis of VP as a paternal breed were studied. The characteristics of the following four groups were compared: BM Х VP; L Х VP; (BM Х L) Х VP; (L Х BM) Х VP. The data showed good genetic growing abilities of the pig hybrids studied. In this respect the BM Х VP combination exceeds the other showing best-feed conversion ratio. VP breed in the position of a paternal breed contributed to higher carcass trait values of studied hybrids.

REZULTATE PRIVIND CREŞTEREA PORCILOR HIBRIZI, OBŢINUŢI PRIN PARTICIPAREA RASEI VP (RASĂ LOCALĂ ÎMBUNĂTĂŢITĂ, REZULTATĂ DIN BM=MARELE ALB x V=RASĂ LOCALĂ) CA RASĂ PATERNĂ
Rezumat
Îmbunătăţirea raselor de suine este una din căile principale de creştere a eficienţei economice în creşterea porcilor, pentru viitorul apropiat. Există diferite căi de a atinge acest scop; dintre ele, punerea în valoare a însuşirilor de reproducţie excepţionale s-ar părea a furniza cea mai relevantă îmbunătăţire a productivităţii anuale/scroafă. Au fost studiate caracteristicile de îngrăşare şi calitate a carcasei la doi şi trei hibrizi care au ca origine paternă rasa VP. Însuşirile următoarelor 4 grupuri au fost comparate: BM Х VP; L Х VP; (BM Х L) Х VP; (L Х BM) Х VP. Informaţiile au relevat buna transmitere genetică a aptitudinilor de creştere, la hibrizii studiaţi. Astfel, combinaţia BM Х VP a fost superioară celorlalte, dovedind cele mai bune rezultate privind conversia hranei. Rasa VP, ca formă paternă, a contribuit la obţinerea de valori îmbunătăţite ale caracteristicilor carcasei la hibrizii studiaţi.
