Dear colleagues,
Faculty of Horticulture plays an important role in national and international agricultural educational and research system. Practically, University's experience and activity continues an already existent tradition and, in the same time, it is an important factor in future development. It also has social productive strength, being involved in a national interest strategy environment.
            In 2008, Faculty of Horticulture organizes the 54th scientific symposium. At the lasts events participated over 300 guests from Romania and abroad and the proceedings have been published in faculty's scientific volumes.
            We are still convinced of science unlimited availability and in the same time we maintain that the most profitable investment is the one made in research and education.
            Scientific event of this year subscribes in this context so, we have the pleasure to invite you to attend, and we are looking forward to meeting you all in Iasi, in May 2008.
